There is a place called Void Square, though it's known by visitors and dwellers alike by other names suck as Rynek Wojdska an such. It is a slight misnomer to call it this since it is located in the center of the Abyss which is part of the large surrounding non-Area called 'The Void' proper.
People end up in, or at, the Void when they've reached the end of their ropes, or if they've stumbled upon some ultimate truth, or if they were alone for too long or thought too much, or even if all the meaning in their lives has been used up. No one here is dead, they're temporarily stuck between realities. Some more temporarily than others, they like to call themselves sometimes the 'Dwellers of the Abyss.'
The Void Square is reminiscent of eastern European town squares, a large open rectangular space adorned by pituresque buildings on all sides. In the middle an inner rectangle of more such buildings facing outwards. The floor is cobblestone but it and everything is covered by a perpetual cover of not-fresh snow, dense, slightly greyish. There is no day and no night, the sky is always covered by the same massive purple cloud, its luminescence is similar to the regular sky in twilight, on the opposite side from where the sun sets, but more purple than blue. There are walways leading out of the square into other parts of the Abyss, and if far enough, the Void at large. There are no cars but every few meters stoplights stand slowly alternating between colors, green to violet, red to pink, tellow to light blue. Once in a while someone takes it up themselves to install a new one somewhere. Everyone seems to appreciate this.
